It started in a tiny kitchen in Vienna in 2018. Anna and Luca, two food-obsessed friends, were convinced that the world was missing something: a truly next-level cinnamon roll.

Not the heavy, dry kind. Something soft, light, and imaginative. Something that felt like a treat AND an experience. They tested over 200 recipes before landing on the one.

They opened their first store with just six flavours and a belief that your daily coffee run deserved to feel cooler. The queue on opening day stretched around the block.

2018

THE KITTCHEN EXPERIMENT

Anna and Luca spend six months testing recipes in a tiny Vienna apartment kitchen. Over 200 attempts. One winner.

2019

FIRST STORE OPENS

The first CINNAMOOD opens on Mariahilfer Strasse, Vienna. The queue on day one stretches around the block.

2020

GOING ONLINE

During lockdown, CINNAMOOD launches DIY roll kits. They sell out within 20 minutes every single week.

2021

EXPANDING ACROSS EUROPE

Berlin, Amsterdam, Zurich. The brand grows to 10 locations across 4 countries.

2023

GOING GLOBAL

CINNAMOOD opens in Dubai and launches its franchise programme. 30+ locations and counting.

2026

50+ STORES WORLDWIDE

Today CINNAMOOD is in 11 countries with more openings on the way. Still baking fresh every single morning.
