"በ'ኢትዮጵያን እናንብብ' ድህረ ገጽ ላይ እስካሁን የነበረዎት ቆይታ መልካም እንደነበር ተስፋ እናደርጋለን። የድረ-ገጻችን ዋነኛ ዓላማ የኢትዮጵያን የግጥም ኢንዱስትሪ ለማንበብና ለመረዳት ለሁሉም ሰው ቀላል ማድረግ እንዲሁም በስነ-ጽሁፍ ዘርፍ የተሰማሩ ሰዎችን ማበረታታትና ማገዝ ነው። ይህ ድህረ ገጽ በርካታ አንጋፋ ገጣሚያንን ከነሕይወት ታሪካቸው፣ ከሥራዎቻቸውና ከምስላቸው ጋር አካቶ ይዟል። ከታዋቂዎችም ባለፈ ሥራዎቻቸው ገና ለሕዝብ ያልደረሱ 'አጃኢብ' የሚያሰኙ ጸሐፊያንን እና ጀማሪ ገጣሚያንን በማካተት እናንተን ለማገዝ ዝግጅቱን አጠናቋል። 'ኢትዮጵያን እናንብብ' ግጥምን የምናደንቅበትና በተለያዩ መንገዶች የምንማርበት መድረክ ነው።

I am an 11th-grade student and the creator of Read Ethiopia. To be honest, I am a beginner poet—I still have a lot to learn, but I have a big vision for our literature. The reason I started this website is because of the passion I developed for poetry through my teacher's guidance. My goal is to create a space where we can remember the history of legendary poets while also providing a platform for beginners like myself and amazing writers whose work hasn't been seen by the public yet. I built this so we can all read, understand, and grow the art of poetry together.
እኔ የ11ኛ ክፍል ተማሪ እና የ'ኢትዮጵያን እናንብብ መስራች ነኝ። በቅንነት ለመናገር እኔ ራሴ ገና ጀማሪ ገጣሚ ነኝ፤ ገና ብዙ የምማረው ነገር ያለ ቢሆንም፣ ለሀገራችን ስነ-ጽሁፍ ትልቅ ራዕይ አለኝ።
ይህን ድህረ ገጽ ለመስራት የተነሳሁበት ምክንያት በመምህራችን አማካኝነት ብሆንም በዋናነት ግን ለግጥም ካለኝ ፍቅር የተነሳ ነው። አላማዬ የአንጋፋ ገጣሚያንን ታሪክ የምናስታውስበት ፤መድረክ ብቻ ሳይሆን፣ እንደ እኔ ያሉ ጀማሪዎችና እስካሁን ስራቸው ያልታየላቸው ድንቅ ጸሐፊያን የሚታወቁበት መድረክ እንዲኖር በመፈለጌ ነው። ሁላችንም በጋራ እንድናነብ፣ እንድንረዳ እና የግጥም ጥበብን እንድናሳድግ ይህን መድረክ አዘጋጅቻለሁ።
